“iArt” is a photography project that includes one thousand photos texclusively with iPhones, iPods, & iPads.

Like most Americans today, I am never too far away from my cell phone. Three years ago when I purchased my first iPhone (3G), I had no idea my life would change forever. I’ve shot and edited hundreds of photos on my iphones, and would love to share some of my collection. As a native Houstonian and urban archivist, I try to capture the beauty, as well as the history in my city. My collection is primarily photojournalistic, with self-portraits, nature, and just about anything that catches my eye… Pun intended. Today’s technology has truly ignited my creative process. I am able to take photos, edit them, and upload them in less than three minutes. Iphone photography aka “iphonography” has become a worldwide phenomenon. iPhone photographers blog their captures, some uploading their photos on an hourly basis. We also gather fans on photo social networking sites such as “hipstamatic” “picplz”, “flickr”, and my favorite “instagram”. My goal is to show how the culture is carving its way into the art world, and share some of my expertise on the hot new genre.

Prints are available for $5 & framed photos are $25. The frames are hand-crafted by myself, and like the photos are unique. Photos are limited to 100; 50 Prints & 50 Framed prints. Each photo/framed photo is numbered, and signed.
